Tag Medical Equipment Testing And Calibration

Why should we have our medical equipment tested and calibrated?
Having your medical equipment tested and calibrated reduces maintenance costs, downtime and significantly improves efficiency allowing medical devices and their component parts to work longer at a minimal increase to costs.
Accurate results are of the utmost importance and faulty equipment may give incorrect readings dramatically affecting diagnostics.
For example: A refrigerator may read 5°C. However, in reality the temperature could be almost 10°C. Such a fault would affect medicines inside and could be detrimental for patients and your practice. After calibration your fridge will read correctly.
